Hello! My name is Sondra McBride, co-founder of StayHomeandWin. I worked as a registered nurse in critical care and emergency
medicine for 20 years. Although I loved working with patients, I
was never really happy in the profession. I worked many 12–14 hour
shifts for minimal pay and I always felt I could do more with my
life.
I went back to school in 1989 to get a degree in computer
information services. I was going to help develop computerized
charting systems for the medical profession. Finally – I would
have a 9-5 job with actual job satisfaction. Well, welcome to
Corporate America Sondra, where the talented get passed over for
advancements and you are on salary even though you are working
many hours of overtime!
After spending $50,000 on college education, I still had not found
my purpose in life. I realized that I had an entrepreneur spirit
and did not want a “boss”. I started investigated how I could make
money from home. I became very interested in alternative
healthcare and preventative medicine. I became involved in
numerous healing modalities and helped a few people, but I was
finding it hard to pay my bills. Several of my friends were
getting involved in home-based businesses, but I did not like the
fact that they had to carry inventory, collect money, deliver
products, etc. I did not want to be in the retail business, so I
steered clear of these types of businesses.
In January of 2003, I found this health and wellness company and I
have never looked back. Not only can I help people with their
health concerns, but I can help people with their wealth concerns
as well. This is a business that does NOT require a large
investment, inventory or overhead. You do not have to run around
selling products, taking orders, delivering goods or collecting

I have owned my own accounting and tax practice for over 20
years. Or should I say my business has owned me! With all the tax

Hi, my name is Matt Thorsen. I have been in the Aerospace
business for almost five years and after working almost 800
hours overtime in one year, I realized that I did not want to
exchange time for money. I have always had an entrepreneur
mind-set; however I never found the right vehicle to launch my
entrepreneur career.
We were not necessarily looking for a home-based business; we
just wanted to get better, safer products in our home to ensure
the health and safety of our family. We were so excited about

Hello, I’m Alisha and I am a stay at home mom and really

I grew up in a small suburb of Denver, Colorado. I graduated
from high school, and went to a technical school to learn airplane
maintenance. After I got my Airframe and Powerplant license,
I went to work for Martin Marietta as a technician. I pride myself
in being one of the best in the industry. I have worked on programs
that give me a great sense of satisfaction, like Cassini, Mars
Global Surveyor, the Titan missile program, and have been working
on classified programs for the past 16 years or so. I have always
believed that integrity should be on the top of my list of attributes.
I have been with Martin (now Lockheed Martin) for over 24 years
now.
The one thing I have learned over the years, is that loyalty in corporate
America is, many times, a one sided deal. A lot of people today are seeing
cuts in retirement plans, longer careers with fewer benefits, and overall
pay that requires most families to have two bread winners to make ends
meet. The threat of downsizing is usually present, so job security is
just not there like it used to be in the 50s and 60s.
When I was introduced to a company that really cares about people and
the overall environment, I got excited. I had seen Martin go through the
law suits for contaminating water supplies down stream of their plant.
I know the types of chemicals they use everyday. I have become very sensitized
to many of them. The prospect of being able to use safer products in our
home was very appealing to me, and when I found out we could purchase

I was not looking for something more to do, but reality told me that
if I kept on doing what I had been doing for years, I was going to end
up right where I am. I had been through the MLM world before, without

Hello! My name is Denise Patrick and currently I am a Realtor working
in the Denver foothill suburbs. I am a transplant to Colorado, originally
from Iowa. My first career was teaching public school and I did
that for eleven years before I moved to Colorado. Actually teaching
comes very naturally to me and I find even in real estate, there is a
lot of ‘educating’ that goes on. You can take the classroom
out of the teacher but you can’t take the teacher out of the classroom!
